Wintrust appoints Doug Boersma president of Wintrust Bank Chicago
Wintrust announced its appointment of Doug Boersma as president of Wintrust Bank Chicago, a member of the Wintrust Community Bank family.
Boersma previously served as president, CEO, and chairman of Northbrook Bank & Trust, a Wintrust Community Bank, a position he has held since 2011. He will continue to hold the title of chairman of Northbrook Bank & Trust. He also leads the Capital Markets and Sponsor Finance groups at Wintrust. In his banking career that has spanned nearly 30 years, he previously worked as a senior vice president and co-head of middle market lending in Illinois for JPMorgan Chase.
A graduate of Miami University in Ohio, he also has an MBA from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he serves on the school’s business advisory board. He is on the board of directors of Beyond Sports Foundation and mHUB. Doug resides in Wilmette.
