Andy Knott is a former Pulitzer Prize nominee and Cook County prosecutor who currently serves as a Portfolio Manager for Wintrust Wealth Management. He focuses on giving independent investment and planning advice to North Shore residents who are concerned about preservation of wealth.

Working with a select group of clients, Andy is known as a teacher. He takes great pride in helping people identify their strengths and weaknesses and motivating them to protect their assets. He has completed the Investment Consultant Program at the renowned Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Andy works with clients in areas such as portfolio management, investment and retirement planning, concentrated equity positions, stock options, and estate-related issues.

As an award-winning investigative reporter for the Chicago Tribune, his work was nominated for the Pulitzer Prize twice (1981 & 1983). Admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1986, he was a prosecutor in Cook County (Chicago) before becoming an M&A expert in Australia and New Zealand where his experiences were the subject of a Harvard Business School case study.

Andy holds a BS from the University of Tennessee, a J.D. from John Marshall Law School, and an MBA from Duke University. He serves on the Board of Visitors at the School of Communications at UT-Knoxville and previously was a member of the vestry of the Church of the Holy Comforter in Kenilworth, Illinois. Andy holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 Licenses in addition to Life, Health, and Variable Annuities Insurance Licenses. He regularly teaches Continuing Education classes in Professional Responsibility/Ethics to CFP® certificants and Illinois insurance agents.

Pragna Rohman works with professionals, executives, and families who have tapped into the American dream, built successful practices, and now need to evaluate their situation to plan strategies to protect their wealth. As First Vice President and Portfolio Manager with Wintrust Wealth Management, she and her financial advisory team uncover problems and create strategies to preserve and perpetuate their client’s wealth in a complex tax and financial environment.

Before joining Wintrust Wealth Management, Pragna served clients as Associate Vice President and Wealth Advisor with Morgan Stanley.  Pragna began her career as a Certified Financial Manager with Merrill Lynch.

Pragna received her Certified Financial Manager certification at Merrill Lynch through the Wharton School of Business. She also received the Certified Wealth Strategist (CWS) designation through the Cannon Financial Institute and holds FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 Licenses. She resides in St. Charles, Illinois with her husband and young son.

Pragna is supported by Shalu Mirza who is a Financial Associate. Shalu services and maintains all client accounts and answers any inquiries clients may have. She also ensures the day-to-day business runs as smoothly as possible.

Robert J. Stewart is a Financial Advisor whose areas of expertise include the creating, maintaining, and passing of permanent wealth. He develops portfolios to generate monthly income, constructs strategies to reduce income tax, and creates retirement plans for both individual clients and businesses.

Prior to joining the firm, Rob was employed at Midwest Bank and Trust, most recently holding the position of Wealth Management Advisor. During his tenure at Midwest, Rob served as a member of their wealth management investment committee. He was also a regular contributor to a weekly radio talk show.

Rob holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Dayton’s School of Business Administration. In addition, he earned the Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS) designation from the College of Financial Planning and is an Investor Advisor Representative. Rob holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 Licenses as well as Life, Health, and Variable Annuities Insurance Licenses.

Rob resides in Skokie, Illinois with his wife, Margaret, and their three children. Rob also serves on the Board of the Bleeding Disorders Alliance Illinois.

T. Tolbert Chisum serves as an Executive Vice President of The Chicago Trust Company and as Managing Director of Business Development with Wintrust Financial Corporation. Tolbert was an original investor, founder, and member of the Board of Directors of North Shore Community Bank and Trust Company. In 1994, he joined North Shore Community Bank and Trust as President of their Winnetka branch.

Prior to his role at The Chicago Trust Company and Wintrust Financial, Tolbert spent nearly 30 years with Aetna in various marketing and senior management positions including Vice President of Field Management for the Great Lakes region and Regional Vice President for Chicago.

Tolbert graduated from Sam Houston State University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and, in 2009, was inducted into the College of Business Administration’s Hall of Honor. He is an active community volunteer, serves on numerous civic boards and is Vice-Chairman of the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library Foundation. Tolbert and his wife, Carrie, reside in Kenilworth, Illinois and Beaumont, Texas.
