Job Title:  Collateral Analyst

Responsibilities:

  • Track and review customer prepared borrowing base reports and obtain approval for advances requested by customers
    • Review of supporting documentation submitted with each advance including but not limited to A/R Agings, Sales Journals, Credit Memo Journals, Cash Receipt Registers, Inventory Perpetuals,
    • Account Payable Agings and Shipping documentation to verify information submitted
    • Ensure Ineligible calculations are updated and accurate
    • Reconcile loan and cash to Bank’s systems
  • Work with Loan Officers and Operations Manager to insure proper documentation of all loans as well as on-going document requirements such as:
    • Monthly account requirements regarding collateral and financial reports as well as financial covenant compliance certificates
    • Updating Insurance Certificates
    • Annual PFS, Company FYE statements and annual personal and corporate tax returns.
    • Help resolve exceptions noted on tickler tracking system
  • Prepare and process monthly Monarch models for customer ineligible calculations.
  • Handle special projects and other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications: 

  • 1-5 years of asset based lending or commercial banking experience.  Candidates should have excellent verbal and written communication skills with proficient knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Education:

  • Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance preferred.
